| Belling the Cat
Long ago, the mice held a general council to consider what measures they could take to outwit their common enemy, the cat. Some said this and some said that; but at last, a young mouse got up and said he had a proposal to make. He thought his proposal would meet the case.
"You will all agree that our chief danger consists in the stealthy manner in which the cat approaches us," said he. Now, if we could receive some signal of her approach, we could easily escape from her. I propose that we should buy a small bell, and attached it by a ribbon and put it on the neck of the cat. By this means we should always know when she was about to approach us and we could easily hide while she was in the neighborhood."
This proposal met with general applause, until an old mouse got up and said, "That is all very well, but who is to bell the cat?"
The mice looked at one another and nobody spoke. Then the old mouse said, "It is easy to propose impossible remedies."

| Egypt
Egypt is a country in the Africa continent. It is located in northeast part of the continent. Its capital city is Cairo. Egypt is famous for its ancient civilization and some of the world's most famous monuments, including the Giza pyramid complex and the Great Sphinx. Its southern city of Luxor contains a particularly large number of ancient artifacts such as the Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings.
Egypt is a large country with 1 million square kilometer of land. A large portion of it is desert. Desert area of the Egypt is largely inhabited. Most people live in areas around the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and along the Nile River. Major cities around Nile and costal area are Alexandria, Aswan, and Port Said.
Modern Egypt has been an independent country since 1922. It is a member of the United Nations and the Arab League. Egypt is divided into 27 areas, called Governorates of Egypt. The Egyptian Parliament sits in Cairo and makes laws for the whole country.
